On behalf of Norway House Cree Nation, Kinosao Sipi Business Development Corporation (KSBDC) Board of Directors along with Staff and Management, we are proud to introduce to the community our New MCI 56 Passenger Bus. KSBDC has worked hard over the past 3 years to this point, its taken teamwork, partnerships and meaningful collaboration, and support from the community. We are extremely excited to bring this beautiful bus to you the membership of NHCN.
KSBDC would like to acknowledge and express our highest appreciation for the supports in acquiring this much needed service to the community, especially for our health programs. First and foremost, we thank the people and membership of NHCN. KSBDC submitted a proposal through the Keena now Trust Secretariat Community Approval Process, and with overwhelming support, the proposal was approved. The Bus will be designated to TAP transport, ensuring our Elders, Children, and all medical patients have comfortable and reliable transportation. This comes with such a relief in how we can maintain and elevate the standard of service we provide to you, so again we say thank you to the membership.
KSBDC would also like to acknowledge the support from Leadership. Our supplier and long-time partners at Thom Brokerage, led by President Brendyn Thom and his team. We also thank our Finance Management team, and our Economic Development team, for their contributions to the development of the Proposal.
The design of the Bus showcases a bit of our culture, heritage, and our identity, things that we as a proud Cree Nation all relate with. We hope you love it as much as we do.
